adequate but not really good

suitable locationoutdated decorpoor water pressure
the location was suitable for my needs.
The room decor seemed quite outdated and not particularly appealing to me. the bathroom lacked any form of heating. It would benefit from a heated towel rail, particularly during colder months. the water pressure in the shower was also very poor.

Fantastic City Stay!

amazing locationhelpful hostparking area
The location was amazing. I could walk to all the main attractions with ease! Mark helped me park my car in the back, a big plus. I was even able to leave my car there a bit after checkout so I could have breakfast.
The parking area required a bit of maneuvering to fit all the cars in, I reminded me of I was playing car tetris.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel provides convenient parking behind the building. It is a significant benefit in a busy area. I saw that guests have access to complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day, lovely.
Service
10/10
The staff helped me with early check-in, which I found very convenient, and everyone was friendly. I noticed that the owner was happy to offer advice and assistance with local attractions, very useful!
Location

The building is only steps from the city walls and the main market street. It is super convenient! I noted that York Minster is also within easy walking distance, very accessible.
Dining
8/10
While the guest house doesn't have a full restaurant, many cafes and restaurants are close by. Breakfast was available nearby, so it was quite easy to get a bite. I saw multiple choices.
Rooms
9/10
My room featured a very comfortable king-size bed and a separate seating area. This was a nice bonus. I liked the spacious shower room that had plenty of hot water. It was a great amenity.
